Young Designers at Wrong Weather
Here at NewFashionBrands.com, we applaud all initiatives to promote new and emerging brands so we were naturally pleased to discover that the contemporary boutique Wrong Weather, in Porto, Portugal, have created an area to do just that.
Alongside established brands, such as A.P.C., Billionaire Boys Club, Comme des Garçons, Dries Van Noten, Kenzo, Uniform Wares and YMC, the Portuguese store has created an area called “Young Designers” to highlight the work of fresh design talent.
The first wave includes directional menswear from Mafalda Fonseca, Elisabeth Teixeira, and Ricardo Andrez, three fashion designers also based in Porto, Portugal.
“We are always on the lookout for the best ideas in fashion for contemporary men” said Wrong Weather, who should inspire many other boutiques with their modern store design and attention to new designers.
Opened in 2009, Wrong Weather is a fashion and lifestyle concept store for men which has understandably been awarded “Best Store Design” by Fashion TV for their striking layout. Alongside the fashion offering, Wrong Weather has an art gallery to showcase various artists and photographers.
