Prints Happy: Get Cutie
Get Cutie isn’t a new brand as such, having been around since 1998 at their store on Kensington Gardens in Brighton, but they’ll always be a young brand to us at NewFashionBrands.com with their refreshing outlook and collection. They’ve added some new shapes to their selection of bespoke and made-to-order dresses so a good enough excuse to namecheck Get Cutie and their happy prints.
The concept behind Get Cutie is a simple yet genius one: they offer a variety of shapes across dresses and skirts and a multitude of amazing fabrics to choose from. Most fabrics have a vintage style about them and look great in any shape. Get Cutie offer a bespoke service to accommodate all body shapes, with options for cup size, etc, to ensure all garments fit their absolute best.
Not only are many items made to order, all garments are made in the UK on the Sussex coast, so an easy way to support ethical British manufacturing whilst looking fabulous.
We’ve cherry-picked some images below of the recently added Starlett dress; with it’s crossover gathered middle and gently capped sleeves, the dress adds 1950’s curves in all the right places while giving the perfect waist.
Alongside the full Get Cutie range available in their Brighton store, the label have always placed their collection in other shops across the UK so contact them to ask for stockists in your area.
Get Cutie will be returning to exhibit at independent London fashion trade show exhibition Margin in August to preview their latest designs to visiting buyers and press. Get Cutie exhibited at Margin between 2003 and 2006 and are returning to the show in August 2013 to showcase their newest collection.
