New Brand: La Cie Vantis
Umbrellas are a vital part of life in Great Britain throughout the year. Summer’s can be a washout and winter’s can be seriously damp, yet umbrellas are generally plain, black, and dull.
Step forward a new French label from Lille in Northern France called La Cie Vantis who are bringing colour and style to the overlooked accessory.
Alongside a range of umbrellas featuring the artwork of various artists that La Cie Vantis collaborates with, the brand also helps to keep us warm and dry with a range of hats and scarves, all manufactured in France.
The current range is available to buy online from their website, but will be available in selected stores following La Cie Vantis’s debut at trade show Margin, the longest-running independent exhibition in London.
Renowned amongst key buyers and press as the launchpad for new brands, Margin has been providing an affordable platform for new brands since 2002.
Men’s and women’s designer and streetwear labels such as Slow Dance, 1 in a 100, Eva Evanovitch, Ruby Rocks, Violette Room, Emily & Fin, and Galibardy, all made their UK trade debuts at Margin, which celebrated 10 years of exhibitions in 2012.
