New Brand: Judy Wu at Margin London
Making her European debut at Margin, Judy Wu combines structural tailoring and pattern-cutting with the finest materials to create a unique collection.
Having studied at Central Saint Martins and worked at House of Holland & Jasmine di Milo, Judy Wu creates elegant womenswear with a rebellious hint of rock’n’roll.
Using luxe fabrics and leathers, the range of expertly-cut dresses, jackets, coats, trousers, and skirts brings a fresh perspective that’s highly-wearable and suitable for all ages.
Judy Wu is a new label that is fast gaining exposure for her debut season by showcasing the collection at two exhibitions this season. Judy Wu will be exhibiting at the independent London exhibition Margin in February and, as part of the exchange programme with Margin, has just completed a successful showing at the IFF show in Tokyo from the 23rd to the 25th January, where Japanese stockists were secured.
IFF is the largest fashion exhibition in Japan organised by the Tokyo equivalent of Drapers, the weekly UK trade paper for the fashion industry, except in Japan it’s a full newspaper published daily.
Renowned amongst key buyers and press as the launchpad for new brands, Margin has been providing an affordable platform for new brands since 2002.
Men’s and women’s designer and streetwear labels such as Slow Dance, 1 in a 100, Eva Evanovitch, Ruby Rocks, Violette Room, Chateau Roux, Emily & Fin, and Galibardy, all made their UK trade debuts at Margin, which celebrated 10 years of exhibitions in 2012.
